What to Expect

Time and Location

We meet at 1580 Clinton-Raymond Road in Clinton, Mississippi (Click here for a map) .

Sunday Morning Worship is at 10:30am and Evening Worship is at 6pm. Sunday School is at 9:15am.

How should I dress?

We really want you to wear what you want to wear. For some people that will mean a suit and tie. For others, that will be shorts and a t-shirt. That said, our church generally dresses casual but we do have some who like to wear a suit. The pastor wears a suit and the choir is in robes, but they are up front. Ultimately, we don’t want what we wear to be a barrier to anyone!

What is the Worship Service like?

Our worship style is historic. This means that we use a liturgy that has been used by Christians for many centuries, but we want our liturgy to be understood for people today. We are looking to have a high church liturgy with a low church feel. So we take time to explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. In the mornings we usually sing hymns and we have a praise band in the evenings. We generally preach through books of the bible, verse by verse, and we work hard to make the bible understandable and applicable to everyone.

What else do you offer besides Sunday Morning?

We have small groups that meet throughout the week. There are couples groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, groups for college students and young adults, groups in homes and at our church building.  We believe that worship on Sunday is the climax of our week as a church, and that our groups are the lifeblood of the church.

Is there anything for my kids?

We have Sunday School for kids of all ages and we have various fun activities for kids throughout the year like VBS, a Christmas program, play dates and more. We also have a youth group that meets on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We take our youth on retreats, summer conferences, and more. We are also a family church, which means we want our kids to worship with us. We believe that worship shapes, instructs, teaches, and we believe it honors God to have our children in worship with us!
